For Beginners and Practioners with
Experience
No
special educational background or experience
is required. Upon completion of the course,
students will have the practical skills
required to safely and effectively
administer basic Tui Na massage treatments
and will have a strong foundation for
further study. |
For centuries, Tui Na has been one of the most
important healing therapies in China. Today, Tui
Na is gaining wide spread popularity in the United
States for its invigorating and natural way
of restoring and maintaining good health. Tui Na uses the
traditional
Chinese medical theory of the flow of Qi (energy)
through the
meridians as its basic therapeutic orientation. By
employing
associated massage and manipulation techniques, Tui
Na seeks to
establish a more harmonious flow of Qi through the
system of channels
and collaterals, allowing the body to heal itself
naturally.
Tui Na treatments help with illness prevention,
promote well being, decrease stress and relieve pain
and aches. In addition, Tui Na massage promotes anti aging, tunes up organs, balances body energy and emotion, enhances immunity, maintains healthy metabolism, and enhances the quality life.
In this intensive and interactive training program, you will learn: -
Basic knowledge of Tui Na
and Chinese medicine
- The meridian system, contraindication of Tui Na

How to make a diagnosis with your hands
- Commonly used Tui Na techniques
- Acupressure and Qi Gong massage
methods.
This training program will provide you multiple skills that will increase your income potential and allow you to help people in a meaningful
ways. Best of all, you will learn how to use natural methods to provide quality patient care and how to strengthen your own body at the same time.
Who Should Register for this Course
Massage therapists, acupuncturists, physical therapists, occupational therapists,
yoga instructors, nurses, Reiki practitioners, Qi Gong practitioner, Tai Chi practitioners, martial arts
instructors, other hands on therapists, or anybody interested in energy medicine. No experience is necessary; we will train you from the very beginning. Experienced students will learn advanced techniques.
Students should be physically fit.
Certification
Certification will be given after completion of the course and passing a test,
which can be taken any time after practicing on 100 patients.
You will be qualified to practice Wellness Tui Na anywhere in United States.
Course
Instructor Aihan Kuhn, C.M.D., is a Chinese medical doctor trained in both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is a graduate of the Hunan Medical University, Changsha China. In China, Dr. Kuhn practiced OB/GYN in Chinese hospitals (1983-1988), studied Tai Chi and Chi Kung (since 1978) and returns each year to advance her training in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and martial arts.
She has authored two books:
Natural Healing with Qigong: Therapeutic Qigong
and
Simple Chinese Medicine - A Beginner's Guide to
Natural Healing and Well-Being.
