Therapeutic Qi Gong Instructor Training Certification

This Weekend Course can serve as a  Professional Certification and or be used for Personal Growth. 18 CEUs for nurses given (approved by MARN)

The program taught by Dr. Aihan Kuhn, is also recommended for  holistic healing educators, chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists,  yoga teachers, and holistic therapists. It attracts people from all over the United States and Canada. 

This certification is ideal for people who wish to lead Qigong practice or offer classes at Wellness Centers, Hospitals, or other wellness programs, YMCAs, community recreation centers, GYM, senior center programs, churches, assistant living facilities, Adult Education programs, Yoga studios, martial art schools, corporate companies, or to offer private lessons

What is Qi Gong? Therapeutic Qi Gong is an “energy workout” developed by Chinese doctors and professors at the University of Physical Education and Sports Medicine in China.  This therapeutic exercise regimen is based on an ancient discipline known as Tao Yin, a type of Qi Gong that has been in practice for over 4000 years.  It involves whole body movements, stretching, proper breathing, as well as self-massage to promote smooth energy (Qi) flow in the body. 

Topics covered in this training will include:

  • The Fundamentals of Chinese Medicine and Qi Gong energy healing,

  • Exercise Training: Step by step instruction in Therapeutic Qi Gong 

  • Teaching Instruction: How to be an effective Qi Gong instructor

  • Practicing and teaching a safe class

Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made beyond 5 days will qualify for a full refund less a 10% administration fee plus credit card charges if applicable.

Refunds cannot be made for withdrawals initiated within 5 days of the scheduled course /workshop. However, we will provide a FULL credit towards any Chinese Medicine for Health course/workshop within one year. If you use your credit within the year for another workshop and cancel, or do not attend there is no further refund, or credit.

If you do not attend, or leave once a course/workshop starts, there is no refund or credit

If we need to cancel a course/workshop your deposit will be refunded in full or credited to another course/workshop. Please allow up to two weeks for the refund to be processed.


Course Leader: This course is led by Aihan Kuhn C.M.D. OBT DIPL. (NCCAOM), Master of Tai Chi and Qi Gong, a Chinese Medical Doctor who has been practicing Chinese medicine for over 20 years, and teaching Qi Gong and Tai Chi in United States since 1992.  She has presented a variety of workshops on Chinese healing to various audiences, including senior centers, hospitals and medical professionals, community centers, wellness centers, corporations, colleges, national conferences, and others. She has published three books: Natural Healing with Qi Gong (2004)Simple Chinese Medicine (2009) and True Brain Fitness (2010).

Two retraining sessions during the next five years are recommended to ensure continued quality of teaching.  The retraining fee is 50% of the standard training tuition.
