  Tai Chi for Seniors
  Instructor Training Certification Program

The purpose of this training is to provide quality Tai Chi teachers for the growing number of seniors partaking in Tai Chi.

The course is taught by Dr. Aihan Kuhn.

Tai Chi Chuan, a classical Chinese exercise, has been used for centuries for health, wellness, and to assist in healing. It involves slow movements in circular motion that are beautiful, powerful and enhance the energy flow in the body.   It is also called an “internal energy exercise” or “walking meditation."

Tai Chi for Seniors provides great health benefits, such as: improved posture and balance to help prevent falls, better circulation, improved metabolism, enhanced immune and neuromuscular functioning, as well as healing and prevention of illness.

Student Testimonial
"I participated in the "Tai Chi for Seniors Instructor training" In Nov. 08. You were very inspirational. I just wanted to let you know I started A "Tai Chi for Seniors" class at the Rochester council on aging on Mon. Jan 26th, (not knowing that it is the start of The Chinese New Year, hopefully a good omen)"

"The first class was great, I had 25 clients sign up, I couldn't believe the turn out! I will send you a picture of the group soon. Thank you for providing the training course, I will continue to learn and grow"
